Cone·Fections

The concept behind this project was to repackage an everyday object and give it a new purpose. I chose to focus on the function of sugar cones and package them as biodegradable planters for herbs. I laser cut my illustrations in order for my brand to exude an organic, handmade quality to consumers.

Architectural Excess

After creating an original, workable typeface named Medium Rare I decided its best function is to be used in a high fashion, editorial setting or headline. The strong marks are perfect for an eye-grabbing element within work. The copy used is an article focusing on architectural excess, hence Marie Antoinette’s room at the Palace of Versailles.

Editorial

An editorial layout inspired by an article published in Design Observer. This specific article is named Beautiful and Terrible: Aeriality and the Image of Suburbia by D.J. Waldie.
